To encode a video, pleasee do the following:

Log into your Metrixstream CMS account with your username and password.

Once logged in, navigate to the top of the page to the main menu and select "Shortcuts" and then select "Content" and "Upload Content" from the proceeding drop-down menus.

You can upload a video by using the flash uploaded (size limit is 1 GB) or the Advanced Java uploader (no size limit) for bigger uploads.

When you have all of the files ready for upload, click the "Start Upload" button.

When your uploads are complete, you will see two links at the bottom of the upload box (Encode Content or Import Content).

To encode, click "Encode Content".

On the "Encode Content" page you will see a list of encoding options for your video/ videos. To the right of each option, you have a checkbox to signify that you want to encode your content in that format. You are able to choose one or all options.

At the bottom of this page, you will see a list of videos that you have waiting to be encoded. To select a movie to encode, click the checkbox to the far right of that movie. You have the option to select more than one at a time.

When you have all of the encode settings to your liking, click "Encode" at the bottom of the page.

You can view the progress of your movies that are currently encoding on the "Encoding Progess" option in the top menu.
To access this menu, scroll to the top of the page to the main menu and select "Shortcuts". Then in the drop-down menu select "Content" and "Encoding Progress".

On this page you will see the movies that you have encoding. To the left of each movie is a button that reads "View Progress". This will give you a breakdown of all formats that that particular video is being encoded to.
