Metrixstream gives it's users the unique ability to watermark their videos upon initial upload, or to retroactively watermark a video after the upload and encode process is complete. This gives the flexibility to add a watermark at a later date if needed.

To perform these steps, please do the following:

Log in to your Metrixstream CMS account

Import your movie through the SHORTCUTS > CONTENT > UPLOAD CONTENT menu at the top menu.

Drag and Drop your video/ videos into the advanced Java uploaded.

This uploader gives the option to upload one of many content items.

After your video is uploaded, click on the link below the Java uploaded that reads "Encode Content".

This will take to a page that gives you a list of all of the videos that you have available to be encoded and will also provide various options to encode the movies.

Watermark options:

You also have the option to select a watermark that will appear on the video.

Navigate to Shortcuts > Watermarks in the top menu navigation.

On the "Watermarks" page, upload a watermark from your computer into Metrix.

You can also manage you watermarks on this page.

When you have uploaded your watermark, it is now available for any encodes going forward.

On the ENCODE VIDEO  page, specify which watermark  you would like to add to your encoding task.

You also have options as far as positioning . You can select:

  • Bottom Right
  • Bottom Left
  • Top Right
  • Top Left
  • Bottom
  • Top
  • Left
  • Right
  • Center

To the right of the positioning option, you can also select the scale of your watermark relative to the video itself.

If you dont specify the scaling percentage, then it does a per-pixel placement of the watermark on the video, which means you need to have custom watermarks per video resolution

Once you have specified the scale and selected you watermark, you will be clear to proceed.

Select the movie that you would like to encode by click the checkbox to the right of that movie.

Make sure that you have all of the formats selected that you would like to encode that movie into.

When you are satisfied with your selection, click ENCODE.
