The Metrixstream "Relationships" feature is used to establish a link between uploaded content. For instance, if you have two videos and one is a trailer of the other, you can use a relationship to link the two videos in order to let the user know that they are related. If a user clicks and views the trailer of a movie, it will be easy for them to find the full length version of the movie easily by using the relationship feature.
Creating a Relationship is as follows:
Log into your Metrixstream CMS.
Navigate to the "Browse" option in the menu at the top of the page to the right of the "Home" button.
A drop-down menu will appear. Select the "Content" option in the drop-down menu and click.
This will take you to the "Content" page, where you will be provided with a list of all content you have uploaded to your CMS.
Find the content item that you want to make a relationship to and click the check-box at the bottom left under the properties of that content.
With the item still checked, navigate back to the top of the page and select the drop-down menu marked "Bulk operations". Select the option to "Establish a relationship". A box will appear under the "Bulk operations". Type in the name of the content that you would like to relate with the checked content item.
When you are satisfied with your selection, click "Establish a relationship with selected content".
The CMS will then indicate that the task is processing.
After the relationship has been made, go to the selected content and the relationship information should be visible under the content properties for both content items.
