The "Drop Box" feature is a mechanism that allows a user to upload images exclusive to their account, and then delegate where that image shows up. When using the drop box, you can upload photos, manage their location/ create a new photo set or add them to an existing photo set, all from inside of your account profile in the content management system.

To find the Drop Box, access your Metrixstream account by logging in with your username and password.

Once you are logged in, navigate to the top menu to "Shortcuts" and select "Photo Drop Box" from the drop-down menu.

This will place you on the main drop-box page. This is where your images will appear in a list format when you have content uploaded. If you haven't uploaded any content through the drop-box, you will not see any content. 

To upload new content, click the link that says "Upload". This will make the upload box visible.

Click the button that says "upload" and you will be prompted to locate the image that you want to upload on your computer hard-drvie. Once you have the image selected, click "Open" and the upload process will begin. When the process is complete, press the "refresh" button in order to make your upload visible in your content list. Repeat this process if you wish to upload more images.

The "Photo Drop Box" also gives you the option to upload an entire folder using our "Advanced Java Uploader". To use this, click "Advanced Uploader" located to the right of the "Refresh" button. This will give you the advanced java uploader, where you can upload an image folder instead of selecting each image one by one. 

The drop-box also gives you the option to take you images from your account profile and relocate them into a new photo set or add them to an existing photo set within the CMS. To move a photo from your drop-box into a new folder in the CMS, do the following:

After selecting the "Photo Drop Box" option from the drop down menu, click the button that reads "relocate" right above the first image in you content list. This will give you a horizontal view of all of your content that has been uploaded. In order to move an image into a new photo set, select the image that you want to relocate. After your image is selected, enter the name of the new folder you wish to create under the "MOVE TO NEW PHOTOSET" heading. When you have defined the name of your new photo set, click "Move" and the new photo set will appear in the main content section of the CMS, with the image you selected inside of it.

To move an image from your profile dropbox into an existing photoset, so the following:

After selecting the "Photo Drop Box" option from the drop down menu, click the button that reads "relocate" right above the first image in you content list. This will give you a horizontal view of all of your content that has been uploaded. In order to move an image into an existing photo set, select the image that you want to relocate. After your image is selected, type in the name of the existing photo set in the field under the header that reads "MOVE TO EXISTING PHOTOSET". When you have the name of the existing photo set defined, click the "Move" button right below it. This will move the image to the specified photo set.
