By default Metrixstream adjusts release dates from NEWEST to OLDEST.
STEP 2: Browse the content page and click on the content you wish to edit/add the meta data "white section in the box" (make sure it turns yellow). You can edit as many you want.
STEP 3: Click on the "bulk operations" drop-down arrow.
STEP 4: Click on "adjust release dates"
STEP 5: Now you will see two new sections: (NOTE: You must choose one or the other)
(a) Range Update:
Here you can adjust the EXACT "start" & "stop" dates of your content, and choose if you wish to "uniformly distribute release dates" or "randomly distribute release dates."
You have 100 videos and you want to release them starting Jan -1- 2010 through Aug-1-2010. If you choose the option uniformly distribute release dates, Metrixstream will calculate the number of days/months and evenly release your content in the given time. In this case, a new video will be released approx every 2 days. If you chose randomly distribute release dates, Metrixstream will release your content with no specific criteria within the "start" & "stop" dates.
(b) Frequency Update:
This option for release dates allows you to pick a "start date" with NO end date. It will stop when your run out of content in your library. The "initial Content" drop down directs Metrixstream to start off with "x" amount of content first (e.g. start with 10 videos) then update with a set frequency (every hour / day / week).
You can get creative here. If you wish to have two videos updated every day, you can set the update frequency to every 12 hours
